For your Privacy, the app you are using may ask you for permission to access data, files, and other features on your phone. These "Permissions" may enable or disable certain app features and functionality.
To view and edit your "Permissions," follow these steps:
- From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
- Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
- Locate and tap "Privacy."
- Tap "Permission manager." You will see a list of device features. Below each one, you will see the number of apps allowed to connect to them.
- Tap the feature you would like to review or edit.
- Review the apps under "Allowed" and "Not Allowed." If you would like to change the permission for an app, tap the desired app. Then, tap "Allow" or "Don't allow."
- Note: If choose to "Don't allow" permission to an app, a notification will display advising you that some features may no longer function as intended. If you would like to proceed, tap "Don't allow anyway" to confirm your selection.
